John Maciver & Sons provide an excellent lifitng services. We are able to provide our customers with a contract lift service to ease pressure and ensure that the lift runs smoothly.
Contract Lift Services
John Maciver & Sons will take the responsibility for the hire, and provide all risk assessments and lift plan drawings. They will ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to. A fully qualified and competent crane driver will be provided along with a fully qualified and competent signaller/slinger. The Appointed person for the job will be experienced and have a full understanding of lifting operations.
Crane and Driver Hire
We will hire a fully serviced and inspected crane along with a competent and qualified driver. It is the responsibility of the hirer to adhere to health and safety and arrange paperwork and provide a competent/qualified banksman. The hirer should ensure that adequate insurance is arranged to cover loss/damage to our plant and the goods being lifted and any additional charges that may arise from any damage to our plant, and also for any injuries that may arise from the cranes operation.
Lorry Hire
As well as our cranes, we have a lorry with a Hiab that can be used for shifts.
Welfare Facility Hire
We have a selection of welfare units and portable toilets on the island.
Container Hire
We have a selection of different sized containers on the island.
Toilet Empty and Waste Disposal
We have a 3000L tank that is able to service welfare toilet facilities and portable toilets.
Plant Hire
Plant hire on the island is available from our sister company, Hebridean Plant Ltd.
